    Guys

Bitchinseat is the only way to go for a Rocker. Just checked my March 2010 invoice for mine with Bull Hide Centre,  and it was US$949 delivered to Perth back then. With current exchange rates it should be a lesser cost now and it  is a much better looking seat than the Danny Gray.

Yeah, pretty disappointing. I sent them an email with pictures and told them I wasn't impressed...they didn't even bother to respond. Should have gone with the bitchin seat.

So, the response from Danny Grey...

"I sent your pic to the experts and they said it looks like the leather stretched causing the wrinkles in the transition area. In time, the leather will shrink up and the wrinkles will be less visible. The main thing is to keep the leather well conditioned so that the leather does not crack. The best product that we have found to keep the leather hydrated and looking new is the Danny Gray leather Conditioner."

I reckon that's a crock of shit. They acknowledge that the leather has stretched (after 6 weeks) and they then try and sell me more of the product to stop it from cracking... go figure. Not happy Jan !!!! Danny Grey....not good enough!  You charge a premium price and should offer a quality product

All fitted and works a treat. The missus loves it and I found that it actually works brilliantly as a backrest. It makes me sit a bit further forward which must be the way Danny Grey intended, because the numb butt is much better. It's also easy to put on and take off.

Now I just need to decide if I am going to paint the struts or chrome them!

I see the guy has relisted his pillion seat on ebay, with the chrome struts. Starting price is now $750 or buy it now for $1100. The buy it now price is slightly more expensive than buying new, but he has had the struts chromed - not sure how much that would cost to do. The whole lot cost me $870 new, not $780 as originally posted because I had left one of the parts out of the original order.

awsome set up mate, this is exactly the set up i want for mine, this seat i got now(standard) is killin the arse.  So has the leather got any better on the danny grey? cause im pretty serious about gettin one myself now. and ill have to do some more research about the pillion, i suppose only availiable new, cant seem to find second hand ones except the guy on ebay hehehehe he is really in need to sell that thing isnt he? i did contact him but hes still askin way to much, even if it is chromed. i reackon looks better same paint, enough chrome on em now.

im sure the missus appreciates the extra comfort too, is reason i wan to get the same my misses actually likes to ride with me. so im inclined to keep her happy. the benefits outway the cost.lol

Hey Eze. I bought the seat directly from Danny Gray on their website - they are also available locally. The pillion struts, seat etc. came from Harley Heaven in the city. Fits with the Danny Gray with no problem and takes 5 minutes to put on. Quite happy with it. The missus is happy as with it.

    Hey Punkin,

The pipes are bassani pro street. They used to sell them at VPW, but not sure if they still do. I love the look at them, but they are loud as fuck, not neighbour friendly at all!
