Yep, the kids love the Harley's. My daughter always says are you taking my Harley for a ride or are cleaning my Harley dad. She's only 3 so she says I'll go for a ride with you when I'm bigger dad. My young fella is 7 and he loves going for a quick ride around town. He bloody waves at everyone though ha ha

I am a bit protective of mine at 11 and 8.
Miss 11 has been on the bike once just a few laps on the pathway and still brings it up .
When I get some better seating for the pillion I will take them for a spin.As well as the missus.
[The two piece seat doesn't really offer them enough to hang onto.]

    Great thread OP.

    Great to hear Scouser.

You have to be involved as much as you can with them when they are young, time flys by.

Jaie and myself, two up, did 170kph coming up the South side of the Hawksbury on the F3 two days before he passed away.

I'm so happy I spent the time with him that day.

I still have two other boys and spend as much time as I can with them.

They are 25 and 20  and  still live at home.

Personal Trainer and a Greens Keeper.

Both are twice the size of me, things do change when they get older hehe.

Good one Scouser, our kids are probably gunna inherit our Bikes...all the better if they luv 'em and ride 'em.
Next ya gotta watch out for the birthday party 'bike rides up and down the street' for ALL the kids ! I reckon Ive taken the majority of each of my kids school friends and all of my rellies kids up and down my quiet little backstreet every blimin birthday for over 2 decades...bike gets fukn hot, so always had a bunch of little boots to stop any little feet being placed on exhausts, and a cupla smaller lids for little melons.......... One of my mates daughters had always run and hid when Dad fired up his drag-piped softy but at one 10th birthday party when she saw the 20 deep line-up of all the other kids waitin' to do a lap of the street the exitement of joining in dispelled her usual timidness....she's never looked back..luv's Dads bike now.
Me kids are all grow'd up now..got their own bikes, and doin the same thing at the grandkids do's............ Dont know for how much longer tho' in this politically correct, insurance obsessed world, some may see such fun as too risky..?
Too bad eh..we had fun, helped our kids grow up luvin' Bikes...AND opened the door for many of their friends !
Good stuff Scouser.....Look out at Missy's next birthday.. Lol

Nice work Scouser. 200kms for a first outing is a massive effort. Can't wait to see the Pic's.

Good on ya Scouser. It's great when ya can share the things you enjoy with ya Kids and they dig it.

Took my Girl for a ride on a brand spanking new FXRS in 1982 when she was three years old, it thrilled her to bits.

She's thirty three now, and the last ride was an eight day tour,,,, she was as thrilled then as what she was thirty years ago.

    It's a great feeling.
