hey fella's, hoping you can shed some light on this for me...

Got my 07 FXSTC in at Trivett Harley ( Sydney ) for a dyno tune,

Motor was built approx 7k ago, and is still on a run in tune using the PC3

Motor Consists of

Stg 2 103 SE kit

SE 204 Cams

Heavy Breather

V&H Big Radius - No 02 Sensors

 

With the PC3 tune the 02 sensors have been tuned out, from what I understand.

 

I have supplied them with a SEPST to retune the bike for max performance.

 

Spoke with Trivetts today, there Master Tech is away for a few days, but from what one of the Service Advisors has explained to me is that they cant  'smart tune' the bike due to the lack of sensors in the exhaust.

The pipes fitted dont have the bungs, and I doubt wether it would be worth the effort of converting them to suit.

 

They have said they need to tune the PC3 to suit aswell as the SEPST, they were asking for manuals and details so they could do something with the PC3, which I dont not have.

 

Can anyone help shed some light on where to go from here ?

Or reccomend who to talk too ?

Yeah pipes are older, bought them 2nd hand from
another member.
Looks like I will have to look into fitting up some bungs.
Or these pipes will be up for sale :-/

They only need to use one tuner. They have to use the sniffer pipes in the exhaust to tune either device. If you want to run closed loop with the SESPT you will neeed to add the bungs for the o2 sensors, paying close attention to how and where they are installed.
