Thinking of purchasing a Sportster and was wondering if there is other places to buy Harleys from besides Frasers ? They r my closest dealer to my location in Newcastle and was interested to know from other members if they knew other good outlets in the Sydney region or up this way and who they would recomend. Looks like i might have to wait for the 09 model out soon as 08s are accounted for as far as i know up this way.Regards Blackdog

In Sydney, Trivett, SY's, Blacktown just to name a few, not sure about up your way.

i donlt really think it matters too much where you order from, so shop around. its the after sales service that is the real challenge. Frasers newcastle were extremely helpful to me when i was passing through last year when I needed my rear shocks adjusted. they took it straight into the workshop , and adjusted them on the spot while I waited and didn;t charge me .... couldn;t heap enough praise on them. Having said that , their big brother at Homebush is a no go in my books. Trivetts in sydney might be worth a phone call - Peter Kelly is the sales guy. they are still looking for market share and have stock and are willing to sharpen the price or at the very least discount heavily parts, clothing etc as part of the deal. good luck

Were to buy one......... try the notice board at the supermarket there's hundreds of them for sale........ and don't pay more than eleven grand for a current sporty  with the lot. Look just telling the truth there's a sporty for sale in the local food barn for sixteen grand sorry its fourteen this week, owner selling due to the loss of self respect?

I have not used these to buy a bike but sold my last bike on Bike Sales. I also used it to identify a Buell I liked but was to late to buy. Know people who have also used Bike Sales.
