VTune Advice

    Hi All

Well after having my tts for over a year i thought it was about time to try doing a few vtunes. I downloaded the manual (which the current one is a lot bigger than the old one), did some reading, searched the forums and had enough info to start. I changed the CLB's to 680, AE and DE tables to zero and AFR to 14.6 to start the vtune process.

I have now done two vtunes and compared my VE table to that in the manual and to my inexperienced eye it seems that the tune maybe ok. Appreciate any advice from the TTS experts on here to let me know if I should be doing more vtunes or any other tips.

My bike is an iron sportster, joker machine aircleaner and short shots.

I have attempted to attach the VE table, hope it works!

    Cheers

    Hi Hilly

I have uploaded the Cal that I used during the second Vtune run and the data that was collected.

The first link is the Cal used in the bike and the second link is the data collected.

Thanks for having a look at these.

    Cheers

    Hi Hilly

If you copy the link and paste it into your browser it will take you to the freespace webpage that is hosting the file. From there just hit the download button and you will be able to save the files to your pc.

Hi Hilly, thought I'd post my question here regarding your VTune method you posted in the TTS Map Respository thread.

You had the idle down to 700rpm, then after filling the required cells, do you hit the road with this idle setting or is the VTune on the idle cells a separate Vtune?
I've read about doing VTune on the idle only on one of the US forums, & once that is done, go on to the rest of the process.

    Hi Hilly

Thanks for having a look! When I get some more free time I will do another run and see how I go with 4th.

Yes I did tick the Sportster box, it must just default back to where it was previously set on your program.

    Cheers
