Hi all,

 

Just started my new job out in the coal mines, So, once a few bills are taken care of I anticipate ordering my Iron 883 from the stealer.

 

Whilst I am quite happy with the SE are breather upgrade etc, I would also like to get the exhaust done before picking it up to ensure that the tune is spot on etc etc.

I was pretty much totally sold on the V&H staggered short shots in black, however I am now pretty certain I want the Bassani Sweepers instead.

My question's are these-

1) Best place to buy the Bassani Sweepers

2) Best place to get a map for the ECU for the bassani and SE filter

3) Any problems with the sweepers (other than fitting rear pegs, which I never intend on doing)

 

On a side note, I would love to get a distressed leather solo spring seat at the same time, how do these fair comfort wise compared to stock?

Mate check out Walka on this site for Bassani, he is good bloke, and looks after plenty of fellahs here. The distressed solo, I have one, just arrived, but had to go away for work, so havent even touched it yet. From what I gather they are ok on comfort, other seats are better, but the solo spring just looks awsome...

Hey Matt, I bought my Bassani Sweepers through the dealership. Not the cheapest option but the most expedient. They also fitted the SE Stage One tune and  SE a/c. All up it was $1700.  I love the look and noise of the Sweepers. Be aware though they are bloody loud! I've not had any problems with them or anything else on my bike. Before deciding on the Sweepers I was looking to put V&H shortshots on (the dealership really pushed them) but I wanted to be different and don't regret it at all.  Hoped this helps. Can't help you with the seat as I'm pretty happy with the stock seat.
