    Hey,

I did a bit of a search and found some results, however, I think I'm after something a bit different.

I basically want a saddle bag of some sort that I can attach if I want to ride to work or something and put my lunch in... BUT I want to be able to remove it without any traces if I want to cruise or whatever...

Does anything like that spring to mind? I'd also like it to be black... The other threads didn't really mention removal etc.

    Thanks!

    Try the plunderdogs (plunderdog.com)

i have a set that i keep on my nightster permanent

they are unobtrusive and suit the look of the bike

they come off with no trouble

    Hope this helps

I made up a bracket that skrews into the pillion bolt holes on the near side of my 48 (so would fit a nightster) for a solo bag, then I got it chromed. I am now just waiting for a saddler to make the solo bag. Much cheaper than a harley product and much bettermade. You can then get something that fits perfectly and wont rub your bike. All up the solo bag and chromed bracket will cost me $220.

I use to have those Plunderdogs on but found i couldn't hold enough for work etc, Looks good on the bike but doesn't hold much.

I ended up installing this bag: http://www.hdforums.com.au/Default.aspx?tabid=71&forumid=37&postid=406058&view=topic

The other thing you might want to try is a tank bag laps or a sissbar bag and just use em when you need, i still use my tank bag when i need the extra space

yes you do need to take the seat off

if you get the harley seat thumb screw its easy - no tools required

have a look at all the pictures on the plunderdog website

there is also a youtube of the installation of them

yes they be a bit small but you can fit quite a bit into them

and if you want something bigger just drop pete a line he does custom work and the craftmanship is excellent

there are also a heap of pics on facebook (nightster owners group)
