S&S cnc ported heads

    Anyone one got any info on S&S cnc 89cc heads , thinking of using them on a 106 build with S&s 585g cams any input would be much appericated

    Apparently S&S heads are great, once you send them to a decent head porter.
    That was Info I got from a local head Guy in Vic'.
    I would look at getting some stock heads worked over .

    Mate runs them on his 106 streetglide WT cams 108 /108

    what you need to do is get a flow chart for those heads., check how they flow at the lift that cam runs. but ask for flow numbers with the manifold & TB you plan to run. also make sure they list the water vacume they flowed heads at. and check how well they flow progressivly like 100" valve lift and so on up to were flow falls off.  there is a lot more to it. but ask your engine builder. S&S will normally tell you what cam & what you can expect.

    i'm very happy with my stock heads that L A Cycles sydney did flow great look stock.
