Just want to have a quick whinge! Why is it I can buy crap online from the US and it gets delivered in 5-10 days. I buy an exhaust system ordered through a dealership and the mob in Sydney ( I won't mention names but it starts with C and the next three letters are ASS) reckon the eta is the first week of Feb. I ordered a heap of stuff when I bought my darling and the bloody thing that I want the most is the item distributed by people who obviously still get their goods sn around the country by the Pony Express...Farrrrrrrrk!

    Thanks for listening.

Buy yer own and get it shipped mate. I get a lot of stuff from M&M Cycles in Sandusky Ohio and have never had a drama. Delivery is always quicker than from the stealer.

I am experiencing this at the moment. Bought the bike in December, was supposed to have pipes / AC / Tuner fitted prior to taking delivery.

6th of February, no parts still...

On one hand its kinda ok to know im not the only one, on the other hand it sucks both ways.

Had a similar problem with Harley Australia - ordered a part from my local dealer 4 weeks ago - part was in the warehouse in Melb when I ordered it yet no part has arrived in Sydney yet !!

Rang Harley Australia twice so far - piss poor response full of lots of words and no result. No wonder we all want to buy overseas.

BTW I have to give 10 out of 10 to the dealer re keeping me informed but boy have they been let down by the bone heads at HD !!!

Buying local is a joke and only for the desperate or uninformed,

For the life of me i just cant justify spending 3 times more money and many wasted weeks waiting to buy local

Here's the update. Turns out it won't be here for a while yet. Spoke to the distributor, copped shit from the dealer for calling the distributor and still have not received what I want. The shit thing is when I speak to the guy from the dealership about said part, he can only tell me that on the job card it should have been here the third week of Jan. That is all wells and fucking good but I spoke to this banana in the first week of feb and he can not work out why I have the shits. What happened to customer service. No worries about taking my dough when I ordered the part. Just big issues in being able to pick up the bloody phone and say something like " sorry mate your part has been delayed but I have spoken to the distributor and the new ETA is..."

The sad thing about this whole story's that even when things that you have ordered do turn up at the dealerships hey still don't call you to let you know. But if you do ring and ask you are the biggest pain the arse ever to grace the earth. Just can not win either way...but I sure feel better for venting!

Cancel the order and get it yerself direct.  Call Mark at M&M and he'll set it up for you.  I have no affiliations with this company but have bought lots of stuff over the years and can sincerely recommend them.
