Advice, feedback and opinion for best suspension upgrade for 05 Lowrider?
Currently running Progressive 418 series. Harsh and ineffective.
Have a look at the new Progressive 970's.
They are the same as the Ohlins.
I have Ohlins front and rear and a true track.
I think I replied to you on another forum saying I genuinely believe the True Track stuff is well and truly worth the money if you ride hard. People will poo poo that but I stand by it. I noticed the difference. I will have my Fat Bob for a long time but I crack a smile every time I look at that swingarm attached to a rubber mounted engine.
The Ohlins are better but I can't say how much better yet because I had some set up issues. Basically both ends were undersprung as sent so I had to get it sorted out. This has been done but I've been O/S for a few months and haven't ridden the bike yet. I can give you an honest opinion on it when I get back at the end of Feb.
Is it rude to ask where you are? If you're around Brisbane you might be able to have a look at it yourself.

Still unsure what way to go! Need to do something soon. It's like I'm riding a rigid with rear shocks!
