f%^K the city
Bloody Hell Dicko,
You do live a tad of a distance from everywhere.
The Google Car has not even ventured there.
Must be magic around those parts of our Sunburned Country, aye.
Just leave it stock unless you race it :-)
Yes ole mate, back on track we is for ya
Now bring that headache back and give us an update on ya thoughts for this build.
I will learn meself what I should have done instead of getting the HD SE 103 / Stage 4 (which Im happy with atm).
hi , can fit a nice allrounder cam in without pulling the heads on a late 2007 & up , using stock pushrods & recive 90hp with 94 ft lbs torque on a stock header system , how much would you use for the street & how much throttle would you use ,is how far you go after this it cost more , these are street bikes not race bike's
Pearcy......look at the Tman TR555T, should work well with low 9's Comp. No need to pull your heads to change gaskets. The 37 likes a bit more. Hilly, at 100tq it's just STARTING to get interesting ! My first build I only wanted about 90T/90H, and got it to about 100/90. Now build #2 I want more (115/110) just like nearly everyone else here that has built their motor. Crazy, but it's just how things are. "Do it once and do it right" should be the motto to live by. But we all learn. But it's also a bit boring having the perfect bike that needs no Mod's ! Your shout !!
i think that the late model bike @ 96 c.i. 1570 c.c. @ 9 .3 comp ratio with a 4.3/8" stroke is quite big enough for normal street riding all that is needed for most cases is to unleash that engine , 1st rid of the EPA fellow these motors can not breathe with that epa type cam thats how they get them to pass the reg's, air cleaner exh mods cams + tune will give most street riders want they want without going over expence , a good port job will make about 2th of a sec in the 1/4 mile in most cases but why pull the motor apart if it's not worn - out , most people just want a very good street bike for the road without lossing there licence , how often do most riders run there bike over 1/2 throttle & 4,000 rpm ? , a good tickle is always good for the heads when the motor is being rebuilt after you wear her out 1st i would not pull a good late model motor apart unless you were very keen, i.am & old rev head on bikes @ 56yrs old & i still enjoy the race track very much, e.g in march a fellow cafe racer club member is putting me on his bike @ the drags belive it or not it's a Triumph rocket 3 supercharged 2,300 c.c. streeter = 270 hp, i get scared just thinking about her as i only weigh 61 klg, if we did not love what we do we would not do it
