Talked to an engineer in ACT and his prize was $ 6500.00. Is this normal to get a self build bike checked before rego inspection?

The guy is a thief,,,, Most Engineers around the country charge around $1500.00,

When any one buys a Frame or Kit from me I put the in touch with a Engineer in their State that will do the right thing by them

I just got of the phone from a Customer that is building one in NSW and he has tracked down a Engineer out that will do a bike for $850.00

Still not sure what to do, some days I decide I will just work on my harley and some days I want to build a 70's style chopper.

Yeah its a shit. Im in Canberra too, keen to see what it will cost start to finish, hard enough paying to get the stuff in the first place, the extra bucks at the end make it bloody tough.
