Hi Guys thanks for for input up front...

I have a 2012 softail deluxe and Iam fitting S&S Slip on mufflers with SE stage 1 air kit ( I like the std look of the bike) the dealer has suggested SE tuner and Dyno at first service...(they are doing dyno for $165.00 which is a good price I feel)

Okay what do you guys recommend as a tuner ??

 

I like the SE Tuner and 165 for dyno is good but just a question how much they charging you for the tuner ?

I was going to buy it online.... so who know where to buy it at the best ??? and what is a fair price...

I got quoted $520 in melbourne-where do you get that sort of price skul?

I just use a screwdriver. Gotta love a well tuned Mikuni....! (sorry....couldn't help it)

HD have spent millions in R&D on their SE race tuners so that they are able to reprogram the factory ECU which also has had millions spent in R&D. My logic and experience tells me that you are stupid to use anything else. Cars have been doing it this was for some years now, and only now the bikes are catching up, pitty there are still "tuners" out there still stuck in their old ways and havnt seen the light as yet. But in say this there is also another waying factor - Choose a person who can tune first and get the product that they are most familia with and you usually end up with good results. As far as im concerned there is only one person in this country that can tune, he tunes everything boats, bikes, quads, cars, drag cars, circuit cars..... and gets paid to travel australia wide and into asia and america....

I was very happy with the PC III on my sporty just download a map to match pipes and air and its good to go,

no need to waste money on a dyno after that, i did $400+ down the gurgler with SFA improvement .

I would contact TTS and ask when the new interface will be available. I'm sure Steve said around February was the release date
