Pillion seat idea's

Hey people, hope you all had a restful festive season.

I have a 2006 deluxe and the rear guard has been stripped, (sanded, filled and sprayed over) of all bolt holes that would normally allow me to put on the pillion section of the original seat (good idea at the time).

Now I find its time to allow some passenger passes and I need any idea's on the best way to achieve this without loosing the current smooth, one up look.

I have heard of pussy pads etc but I'd rather something that slips on the bag bolts and can be removed easily. pegs will be easy as Heartland do a nice softail one that blends in well.

as I said open to idea's as to the best solution to go two up.

Given your styling I'd say any sissy bar should be reeeal low if any at all.

Butty Buddy, ha! i like it.
You've done some awesome research for me there pizz. Top job.
I think i'll go for the not so comfortable pad, don't want her getting "too" used to riding with me.

Anyone know of anything like this for a standard rear end?

I'm hoping I can put some sort of quick release system on the existing guard bolts that will accommodate the seat and/or my bags when needed...

The ones pictured are a custom option from heartland which I assume will only be mated to their wider rear-ends.

Ahhhh yes I do love the roadkings, met a small Thai bar owner in Kamala Beach who has a pristine example, Big bike - little guy..
Kinda like a monkey on a scooter!
Great idea though, well presented, I'll put it to the board for a feasability study.
