Howdy- I hae been thinking about swapping my bars on my RK and really like te look of the Wild One Outlawz WO614 bars. Any of you blokes ave these on your bikes. If you do, pics and your opinions on them would be great. Also wondering what the bar thickness is?

      Cheers

I have 16" Wild one apes but don't know if they're the Outlawz WO614.

What do you blokes reckon they would look like on a Road King?

I've got the wildone 12" apes - same width as Kustoms but not as high.
I reckon the outlawz would look too square and narrow at the bottom, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder - others might reckon it looks shit hot.
Which ever way you go, say goodbye to that pain between the shoulders when you go to apes, comfy as.

I'm about to try fatboy bars on mine, same height as standard RK bars but about 1" further in/back. Nice big fat bars with a nice bend to them, i'll let every one know how it goes later.

Are you going to offload yours Stumbly? If so, could possibly strike a deal.

yeah I might do Ozy but it will be a while, I want to make sure I'm sticking with the fatboy bars first. Probably be a good 6 months, don't know if you want to hold out that long.
I ordered mine from m&m - off memory I think they were about $550 delivered to my front door in about 2 weeks.

I am in no hurry. I haven set of RK Fat bars going on Thursday. I always wanted Apes but when I bought my bike i considered the Hd Apes but the dealer would not install them without the riser si I went the Fat Bar instead.

wish I'd known ozy, I've got a set of RK fat bars in the shed. No one wanted them so I wrapped 'em up and left them - would have passed them onto you cheap!

purely a looks thing ozy, I know putting form before function is wank but I just didn't like the look of them.
Thats why I'm having a go with the fat boy bars - basically same dimensions as the RK fat bars but just a little wider and much nicer looking bends.
I'll let you know about the apes in a few months, I might keep them yet, still wired up, so I can change them over when I have an episode and want a change.

No worries mate. The upside is, if you decide to keep the apes, the Wild Ones are pretty reasonably priced. Do you ever cop any stick from the cops with the apes? The guys at Frasers told me 16's were the max you could have but I have not been able to verify this anywhere.

somewhere in the archives of this forum is something about the legality of apehangers and I think off memory 16" was the tallest you could go, but I could be wrong.
Mine are only 12" and I'm pretty sure they're legal.
Been pulled by the cops a few times and they've never mentioned the bars or even really paid any attention to them, being only 12" they don't really stand out or look over the top.
