Hi All

I have recently come accross a problem with my Iron sportster where once I start my bike up the engine light comes back on for about 5-6 seconds and then shuts off. Has anybody had this problem before and is it something I should be worried about?

Also I went on a long trip over the xmas holidays (1100 km over two days) and I found that when I came to a stop from a long period of cruising the bike would idle very high for up to about 10 seconds before it would come back down to normal. I thought it may be crap fuel from remote areas as it doesnt seem to be such a problem now back in the city.

The bike has short shots, joker machine aircleaner and TTS with just the standard map downloaded. The bike is still under warrenty so may take it back to the stealer to check out.

Gday mate just read your comment in the site about your engine light, mine does exactly the same thing. Comes on after the bike starts for about 15 sec. Did you get to the bottom of it.
