Wondering if anyone knows of a good/cheap company that could ship my bike from Brisbane to Auckland. Thanks to visa issues me and the bike are having to head over there. Should be amazing riding though,
My searches tend to only come up with companies that ship around Australia.... Any help pointing me in the right direction is appreciated. I'd love to hear from someone who has shipped over as a temporary import, if possible.
Thanks guys!
I shipped a bike into New Zealand using Allied Pickfords. They crated it up at my place and made it available to me in their warehouse in Auckland so that I could re-connect the battery, put the mirrors back on (removed to reduce the size of crate needed) and fuel it up. From there it was around the corner to the inspection place for registration.

Can't be sure on price as I shipped other stuff too, so it wasn't priced separately.
The Allied guys strapped the bike down onto a large pallet and they built the crate around it at the collection place (my house).
hi used this outfit a few times with bikes back and forth from oz to nz and back. i brought a harley crate from a local hd dealer for nz$120 these are the ones they bring the new hd s into the country in.you might need to do a bit of homework in regard to importing a bike to a new country. first time to oz i used what they call a carnet, which allowed me to ride the bike in oz without having to register it in that country ,it is valid for 12 months ,where it either is registered or must haveleft the country.which could suit you. hope this is usefu, bit of f.kn around but if you dont do it right they can make things hard ,be sure to clean it well ,under guards tyres, if the guarntee crew inspect it and find its dirty covered in crap ,bugs, they will make you pay www.cargosystems.co.nz talk to john knight 6493078880 cheers
