Belt tool

    Hey fellas. Made a simple belt tension tool. I had multiple photos but no matter how hard I try I can only seem to get one picture uploaded or whatever you call it. The picture below is exploded.

    7" piece of 24mm conduit, 22mm 4"inch spring from the hardware, 8" piece of wooden broom handle, 5 minute Araldite, electrical tape.

    Cut about 1/4" off the end of the broom handle, place it in one end of the conduit securing it with the Araldite. Let dry and insert spring into other end of conduit followed by the broom handle. Get a set of scales and and push the broom handle end down on the scales until 10 pound is reached, mark. Wrap the electrical tape around the broom handle and your good to go. If your scales are in kg then push down to about 4.5kg.

    I'll probably cut an inch or two off the broom handle once I place the wheel back on just for ease of use.

    nice and easy,never used one did see one at the shop,jack bike up find the tighest point twist the belt to a angle of 45deg and thats it,once you have done it a few hundred time s you get the hang of it.
