cleaning loctite

    stupid question fellas.

    Can someone tell me what they use to get old loctite out of threads

    I used a wire wheel on a grinder, and for the hole a bolt with the same thread with a V cut along the thread using a file to clean the threads

     i clean the bolt  with a little screwdriver in the thread  or a thread  a file,  the threaded hole i blow in it with the air gun of course & use a little bottle brush with wd40 , heat will normaly loosen loctite

    Bolt, wire wheel or brush, run a tap down the holes, use loctite primer as well

    Tap and Die set only way to go...
