Good pics Zag, i climbed it a few years ago, about 10 yrs ago, always said i would never do it after the government handed it back, when you see it, well that thought went, paid my money and away i went, best thing i ever done, every Aussie should have a crack at it, well worth it, when you 've climbed that go and have a walk through the Olgas, another great attraction.

Thanks for those pic's Zag, when we was there the climb was closed because of the wind, they opened it about midday but we had no intensions of climbing it anyway, i'm to lazy for that, but we did walk around it,
i thought the other side was boring as hell, only a few half interesting spots that were closed because of sacred sites, my advice would be ... from the car park go left but dont bother going around the
northern end .... and go right from the car park as far as the the water holes and caves .... everyone ive spoken too say's the Olga's are way better than the rock and i agree, especially the valley of
    the winds walk ... awesome.

Trev, Kings Canyon was, by far, the highlight of our trip, but you have to do the rim walk or you see nothing, getting up there is a real challenge but well worth it, definitely a "must do".

[ edit ] : might have to start a photo thead in the photo section lol.

    Hello Trev and Di,

I think Tasmania may have Vicki and me in training already because since we came over here the other day every time I turn around we gotta climb or walk up another fucking hill or mountain and they are not small, will post some picyutres when we get back to the Isa.

Hey, just thinking about those dates.
From the OP, do I understand that you'll be riding from Isa to Uluru from Sunday 3rd to Tuesday 5th?

The reason I ask is, the Territory Hog Rally is on in Darwin starting Friday 8th, That would give me a few days to get from Alice to Darwin:)

    ...or did I misunderstand?
