After reading the comment from Jerry I think BB's days are over.
We met Kevin Alsop at Big Bear Choppers a couple of years ago, seemed like a nice guy.
Whilst speaking to Kevin he asked us if we would like to check out the facilty, factory workers had gone home for the day but he turned all the lights back on and gave us a personal tour of the factory which was great, we spent about a half hour checking out the factory they had lots of gear and machinery manafacturing all the parts in house.
Sorry to hear that the business has gone down the tubes, didn't mind the style of the bikes they were producing. Regardless of all the bad talk on the internet he seemed like a nice guy but I had only met him briefly so thats all I can say.
It's never nice to hear that people have not received their bikes when they have paid for the bike upfront and the company didn't deliver the goods.
there was a shop in NSW that was trying too set up big bears choppers over here not to say whow , but this gut never pays his bill anyway even tough he use to have a shop before in NSW , i know he owes $ too a couple shops he never fix or paid up even me after saying that he wouldnt do it to me but guess he sure fucking did iam sorry i ever help him out because iam out of pocket, so i for 1 am glad he never made it to import & set-up sales of these bikes anyway because it could of been just bad for people here as well , have a good weekend

Jeez, poor buggers. What a sad story. His sister mighta been standing up for Bear but I don't think she helped OZ / US relations one little bit! It all got too bloody personal with the insults for anyone to back up and debate the issue. If Bear has been greedy and ripped off people, as seems to be the case, I think we can all fully understand their hatred and name calling and Aussie bashing.
Unfortunately slagging Aussies is too easy as that appears to be Bears only point of difference from those doing the slagging. As an Aussie it saddens me to think we're all being lumped into the same basket as him but bad people are bad people and every nationality has 'em.
Let 'em vent; they've lost a shitload of dollar$$$ and some will never have that money (or a bike) ever again. I feel sorry for them all and if Bear was from Canada or Germany or Guam it wouldn't matter one little bit, fact is he's pissed 'em off and they're looking to shout any thing at any one.

He may have made nice LOOKING bikes, but if they are faulty, they are dangerous and not worth a pinch of shit. And as for taking money on false pretense, he should be held acountable and for those yanks that said us Aussies are the same... I'm NOT... Bondy, Scathy, our pollies... well they may be, but aren't they just living the American way???
