Hi mate I got the hardtail from the states and cut the frame in the shed and got it very close then got a friend at his engineering shop to fit it up and do the welds so it was legal they come with smaller tube to weld in too make it stronger but get some solid slugs to bash into the frame so it strengthens the frame alot more. Also when we do the final welding once stripped down I am adding gussets on the top and bottom of the frame for extra strength.

ok guys here is a few pics of hand beating the guard aircleaner and making struts

this is when i thought i was done but wasnt happy with the shape so kept shaping

hundreds of hammer hit later the shape was getting better

the result from alot of hand filing and sanding

are you fucking serious? I hate you, in a wish-i-lived-near-you-so-i-could-supply-you-with-beer-while-you-taught-me-this kind of way. Awesome fabricating skills, from what looks like a dolly and a shitload of patience. Love the air cleaner cover

cheers dark its not easy just taking your time and learning what the metal wants you to do to get the shape then alot of time filing sanding and polishing but well worth the effort
