I've always worn leather, been riding too long seen too much (including racing) to ride without proper protection. However the past few hot days have made me think about cooler jackets, rather than black leather. I bought a Teknic Supervent jacket. It is strong mesh construction but with elbow shoulder and back protection (armor) and reinforced where necessary. Went for a squirt today and it is fantastic! Soon as I rolled down my street I could feel the air on my arms etc which was a weird feeling! Has a bit of lettering on it (the latest ones have a bit more onthe front, as well as a zip out liner), but I think I'm going to like it! I bought black.
Only drawback is that it only has one internal pocket (I'm used to a couple) as well as 2 outside ones. I paid $199 - highly recommended
