G'day all.

Just bought the Harley Competition III leather jacket. Pretty cool jacket I must say. The only problem is that all the descriptions you read on Harley's website and others, state that it has a back armour pocket to take the FXRG back armour. Do you think I can f#@^ing find it.

Does anyone have the jacket and can they tell me how you're supposed to install the back plate or did I get a dud jacket?

 Thanks Dicko but no. The horizontal vent on the back has a perforated piece of leather sewn into it. I'm wondering if the jacket I got is defective. I bought it from St Paul HD on eBay. I've emailed them but still have no reply.

So here's the correspondence with St Paul HD. It's not their fault.

St Paul HD: On the inside the jacket there should be a pocket with a Velcro opening either at the bottom or the top of the back of the jacket.

HG527: G'day and thanks for the reply. No, there is definitely no velcro opening or pocket on the inside top or bottom. Every seem is fully stitched. Is there any chance you could check one of your Competition III's in stock and see if it has a pocket? If it has then this jacket has been overlooked when it came to fitting the pocket.

St Paul HD: So we dug a little deeper and you are right, there is no back body armor pocket on the Competition III. What happened is Harley-Davidson sent out the description of the jacket and changed the design after that and never sent out the new description.
