Does anyone know what the largest capacity tank you can put on a 94 model 883 sporster, with out to much stuffing around?

I think the 4.5gal Nightster tank will be the biggest that'll drop in without too much fuss.

 On a '94 the biggest factory tank would be a 3.3gal tank.  There are bigger after market tanks available.  Nightster tanks are 3.3gal but are all FI so they wont suit.  And the bigger Sportster C tanks will not fit as they are 2004+.

that's the best thing about the model you have; there's a shit load of aftermarket tanks for carby bikes. If you wanna get creative, you'd be able to stick just about anything on there with a little modification

We do them for 1982 to 1994 and 1995 to 2003

I have a 94 sporty myself and i,ve just put a 4.2 gal tank with the speedo and ignition on a tank dash
fits well just have to finish putting everything together to see how far i get.

I have the king sportster tank on my 97 sportster sport its fine you should have no trouble with it
