Gee you guys and girls have got some great roads to ride on.

parents live in port pirie. 

went from Adelaide airport to port pirie - port augusta-quarne (spelt that wrong) down to port broughton and back to the airport (not on the same day).

saw a few bikes around, some very good roads and great scenery.

just friggen hot.

 

 

you had the right side of the gulf for the ride, my side is flat a featureless til Pt Augusta.

u might have thought differant if u had have gone on the country roads i have 2 ride on the roads u went on r about the only roads the f--- heads spend any money on but its good 2 hear u had a great time

Al wait untill you get into the Adelaide hills there are some really great rd to take a good ride on.Next time you are here PM me and i will get a few mates together and take you through the hills.Ok take care and ride safe Al.

Miss lead you a bit. I was in a hire car with the family. You should see the roads up in QLD. Would love to get my bike down that way for a visit.

Fair enough Al you have to do the family thing.Talk about QLD i am planning a trip to Cairns in about a years time.I hope to get to try out quite a few of their rd on the way there.

You Will love it up this way. Make sure you give us some warning (have to work on brownie points) so we can go for a beer with the cq crew.

Etch if you have never been to QLD the you are missing heaps. I had a few good years up there in the ADF. We have a lot of friend up there as well and we will end up moving up to Townsville in a few years. Gota do it whilst you have the chance to enjoy it though

AJ i have been to QLD before but i was only there for 3 days.I went to Maryborough to buy my 1996 dyna back in 1999.I rode back to SA got to see a bit of QLD but not much.Also when i was 4 we moved to Mackay for 9 months i can remember a bit about it but not much and i went up to the sunshine coast for a week with my school i was 14 then, so only saw around the sunshine coast.Thats my hole experience of QLD so you can see why i cant wait to get up to Cairns and thank you for the info AJ.

Mate if your riding you HAVE TO GET TO THE ATHERTON TABLELANDS , Awsome country side.

I want to take like 2 to 3 weeks to get to Cairns that way i am not in a rush and i can see different places AJ.

Your going to love it this time round.
