try using a trolley jack & a cut down milk crate, have had a couple over the years, all cut at different heights for resting stuff on

i have one in the shed cant fit to the sweepers with out mod because of exhaust on left side

Buy a bike lift! Mine cost $240.00 and it is fantastic, money worth spending. Its jacks up high and i have a chair on wheels that i sit on and i wheel myself around the bike polishing it without bending my back. I can also turn the bike around (180 degrees) on the stand as it has wheels, good for turning around in the garage.
