    Hi to all Tuners!

Guys has anybody got the HD stock standard 96B cam specs as required for the Vtune input? I am in the process of playing/learning and implementing the TTS Mastertune program for my 09 FXST.

    All info gratfully accepted.

    Paul

    Hilly,
Good info, I assume that there is no difference between HD1 and HD5 specs as far as engine hardware is concerned?

    Ando,
I did load the CAE-176 into the ECM (we are talking about the MT8 cal file?) but as i did not have the immediate knowledge re Camshaft specs, I changed back to a MT7 file provided sans ggmielke.
I do intend to reload this file but not until I pocess better understanding of the data required.

    Guys many thanks, Paul

You can leave the settings in the cam selector of the MT8 file as they are & still use that cal. If you want to be more precise with the cam selector adjustments later, in the IVO setting at least, use the CamData feature in DataMata. Piece of cake to use,

    Kiwi Rob,
I am just a bit gun shy here, I notice that when I opened the cam selector the "default' Inlet opening BTDC was 20 degrees and the Inlet closing was 40 degrees? these parameters appear excessive hence if I have the right specs I would download, peace of mind thing really. I will be reloading the MT8 file shortly as I know that the "Cam" option will be a benifit when I start getting into it.

    Ando,
I am still learning as I go, however last night I grabbed the CAE 176 003 MT8 file and reconfigured with info provided by Hilly. The test ride results gave a lot of confidence, now for the serious stuff with as you suggest, I am hopping to find time today.
    Cheers Paul

    KiwiRob,
Thanks for this, I was able to complete the "transfer" last night after deciphering further info that Hilly was good enough to provide.
    cheers Paul
