Gday boys,
Im looking at getting some black apehangers on my 04 xl 883. I have found some 16" ones. They are like the rsd ones. With a right angle at the bottom instead of the old smooth bends. They have them in 12 and 14 too. Do you reckon the 16" are too much? Ive never used apes before. Do they handle much different? Im 6"1 so I dont think the reach should be too much. I need to get risers/clamps. I bought the bike with drags on it and they are a one peice with about 6"inch rise, so I need to get clamps etc. Any thoughts?
Bunyip, I've got a pair you can have for $80 bucks! I have 14' apes, Burly Brand!! They're black narrow glide bars for Sportsers, knurled and have holes for internal wiring!

883, mate Willl check out the burly website, Im keen to know where you got those brass pegs for that machine of yours?I really like them.
When i was looking at apes, i went with the road6customs i only have 8" ones as my shoulders are bad, but my main decision was that they are narrow and suite the narrow glide front ends better, a bar like the burly in my opinion is more suited to the 48's with a mid glide front.
