    Give Bird a ring  if ya need something ,he might have it ,he is clearing stock .

    Bird went out of his way for me ,you wont get service like this at some of the bigger retailers ,and once blokes like this are gone the big retailers will own us .

    I bought a digital speedo from him and it worked for a few days and then shit it's self and he wouldn't warrant it...Quite a few clams down the tube....

    Well i'm shattered, i woulda highly recommended him, have dealt with him a few times, even been to his house before he opened the shop on the GC, took him to be a decent and fair person, also i ordered some goodies one afternoon and they was in my mailbox the next morning, couldnt believe it .... sparra, how long was it between purchase and attempted claim. Thanks for the tip guy's.

    I've also dealt with Bird & got great service-
    As to the price mark up -firstly-the price is set by the buyer -if u reckon its a good price u buy it-if not it doesn't matter what the seller wants -no buyer -no sale-just look at ebay & these forums at the price variations-every one loves a bargain -sometimes you win some,some times u loose.
    With electrical stuff read the bottom of peter stevens receipt -"electrical goods are non returnable or exchangeable"-check how many people deal with them,& I'm sure they've received the same answer-I'm guessing its up to the manufacture as to what warranty he places on his products-I would have thought it would be more than a few days -under consumer law-it is often difficult to tell if faulty installation or faulty part is the problem with electrical stuff -"its all compressed smoke -when the smokes gone its fucked."
    Sparra -did you discuss with Bird what options u have?
    I have also dealt with Wayne Johnson from Chopaweeza -found him to be knowledgeable & fair-I'd be interested on his take -as he is a trader & must have had a similar situation either as a vendor of parts or a purchaser building bikes???(G'day Wayne).
    By the way I'm not related to either Bird or Wayne-maybe Bird could give his side of the story??

    Hey Enforcer - you wrote on the Forum about that seat over 2 years ago and you are still on about it, you have been into my shop 3 times since and never mentioned it, I bought it from Thruster for $250 and sold it to you for $350 by the way, once things come into my shop then it cops GST 10%, then it has to help pay the rent $3k a month, also power, phones, internet, run a shop vehicle and pay wages for 3 people. You were happy to pay $350 - it was a new $650 seat by Danny Gray. I do my best to keep my prices down and look after my customers so look from my side also. Yes no warranty on electrical unless installed by a qualified mechanic, that is law and I have even connected the wrong wires a few times and spiked things so they are worthless, thats the price you pay for trying to do things yourself.
    While were at it - I have all types of people walk in my shop and a lot of 1% who don't ware their colors out of respect for my business, It ain't right for you to pull up to my front door in your cop car with you and your buddy all rigged out in your COLORS.

    Dealt with HDBitz maybe 5-6 times, never had a problem, will use again. Always check his website for anything i'm looking for.

    Can highly recommend Bird's long stem mirrors-can now see traffic behind me-can't tell the difference between factory & Bird's ones.
    I have no affiliation with Bird,but can say in the 6 odd years I've dealt with him the service is spot on.
    Ditto for what Taff60 said.
