Righto, haven't met you lot yet ('cept for Rodders) and I know ya's have ya Edenhope run but as I'm moving to Melbourne mid-Jan I will be returning to this belter of a shindig and thought I'd see if there's any interest from the people of the Garden Smart Nanny state of Victoria.

25 people already committed to the journey from QLD and NSW. See Davo's threads HERE, HERE, HERE & SOMEWHERE IN HERE. Trust me, if you can afford to make it, it is well worth it, great place and great people.

Only downside I can see is the 12th of March is Labour Day in Victoria so you can take an extended break and add this to it. Stopover would be somewhere around Dubbo however the ride could take us up the coast if people prefer.

Post up any interest and or comments otherwise i'll ride by meself!

     Description of ride:

     Bellingen or bust

     Date:

    Thursday 15th to Monday 19th March 2012

     Destination: Bellingen NSW
     Route: (incl meeting points/times)

Leave Melbourne approx 6am -> stopover in Dubbo

Leave Dubbo approx 7am -> arrive in Bellingen

Return journey would be similar leaving Bellingen on

Sunday 18th and getting back in to Melbourne on

    Monday 19th.

Route to and from Bellingen is completely negotiable as we

may be able to catch up with some from NSW crew?

     Who's coming:

    VIC

Deadwood , Rodders , hmmm, piglet?

    QLD crew

    Davo'n'Patsy , Kusso , Chromer , Skulz ,

Ubes , Munro, Evo , The Motorheads . Moffy and Caryll ?

    C , Slip , Homer and Louise , Di and Jiff , Beags ,

    NSW mob

    Pearcy , Deesy? , Burra , Filthy , Seet04 ?,

No sweat mate, plenty of notice for this ride, Davo in the other thread mentioned he has booked out Diggers Tavern which allows for 40 people. If you prefer to camp I'll check with Flan's better looking brother as this is his stomping ground, he'll know of any camping grounds in the area or if the pub allows a swag. If the Diggers becomes full there is another pub just up the road with accommodation.

So those with question marks next to their name will need to look at the Diggers for accommodation?

I'll be based out of Mooroolbark and am happy to meet up with anyone along the way but I guess we'll still need a meeting point before heading too far north.

Do you have a usual meeting point on the northside?

Giddy up, thanks Davo. I'll ring in the morning and confirm the booking.

Put in on Kusso's credit card, that'll make you feel better.

So Rodders and hmmm, any thoughts yet on which way to get there? Happy to stop in Dubbo for the night or too close? When driving I'll usually stop in Moree so we could push through to Tamworth for the night, about 1200k's then it's a nice leisurely 300 or so click into Bellingen the next day.

Which suburb are you based out of hmmm?

For sure. Bikes don't ride over wombats and dead roos to well.

That's the way I usually head up to QLD, thru Shep then West Wyalong. Just a case of where ya's wanna stop for the night.

Spoke to Viv at the Railway Junction Hotel, she won't take bookings this far out, she said to call back a week before. They have 2 overnight rooms (other rooms must be for long stays?) one has 2 singles in it the other has 3 singles. The room with 2 singles is $30 for the night and the room with 3 singles is $45 for the night.

Reckon we could get the 3 bed room if piglet's happy to share?

The other, as per Deesy's recommendation, is the Endeavour Court. Rates are as per the link. Bit more exxy.

Yeah I suppose it's more of a warning. Wild single women with nothing else to do but sit at home and have babies and score handouts. Just tarp up and she'll be rite ha ha
