Hey all,
First up, get in early and wish you and your families all a Happy and SAFE Christmas....
This topic has probably been covered before, so forgive me...
was doing the sums and thinking of going the Screamin Eagle stage IV ,
But was wondering if it will affect the bottom end , as i really want a Fat bottom end and a beefy midrange, not a top end screamer,
Some have said to me that the stage IV will make it a pig to ride around the city and a blast on open road or two-up, .
Dont do alot of miles in the country ...yet,but maybe later.....
not a boy racer....
Always like more grunt, the 120R is not an option ATM....
Appreciate any feedback or advice, is the stage IV gonna make me row the shifter more off the mark , is it going to be snatchy at
60-80 around the city, or ls the stage IV with a good tune going to be sexual chocolate?
As i said probably been covered before, but i dont want to hi-jack some one else's thread
Cheers again TB1
Ando,
cheers for the advice mate, appreciate it,
TB1
Hey ,
simmac18 and Thunder, thanks for the info ,
Perth Harley Davidson have offered me a good deal, so money wise i am happy with what i have been quoted,
Just not sure if its the right way to go , for what i need.
I ride it alot, just not long country trips...yet.
But thanks for taking the time to give me some help fella's, appreciate it,
Hope your Christmas for both you and your families was a great one
cheers TB1
Thanks Ando,
I am happy with my upgrade. Compression is OK.
But if there is something more I can do to get more low down grunt I will.
I believe I could have the 259e cams? Will talk with Blacktown HD who put it all in for me.

hey choppersmad,
just realized we are 2 years apart in age, and have the same likes.......just saying lol
Hey chooppersmad,
on the bright side mate, we have like minded mates on each side of the continent now , hope ya year ends well, and all the best for the new
one just around the corner, Take care
Cheers
Hey Thunder ,
Your dead right in what you say, you get what you pay for, somrtimes you have to go with your gut feeling,
Perth Harley were not the cheapest price, but i was happy with it ,and they have proven to me time and time again
That they are not just about selling you the bike and then F#ck you, i have been looked after by them time and time again, sometimes above
what they are obliged to do, i have a pretty good raport with Sam , the service manager there, and am pretty(very) happy with the whole Harley
experience, as this is my first Harley, they dont treat me like a noob.
But yes i agree , too bad you Guy's are on the other end of the rock, will definately catch up with you fella's when i am over that way,
And likewise if your West, drop in , your welcome.
Hope you and your family have a great new year, Please take care if your on the roads, and look forward to chatting next year.
Hang loose
i had a laugh when i read this, cos i had just been on the sites you mentioned ( and thought the same thing) , closed the pages after
emailing Jamie, and learnt a little more than when i spoke to you earlier, cheers for your help and advice,
while i am not 100% sure on everything yet, of what to get, i am sure of which way i dont need to go, and i am not saying that you bagged
any products, but you did turn on a few more lights for me, , thanks for taking the time to chat, and making me aware
of other options i didnt know about, ready to start on collecting what i need,
Talk soon
Happy new year
