Just got a quote from QBE for $415 (good price!) but in filling in the actual form, one offense two years ago meant the price jumped to $602 despite never having had an accident.

GIO ended up the best deal at $405.

yeah ended up with GIO myself this year. But has anyone noticed or is just me, the insurance companys take it in turn to be the cheapest green slip. It is never the same mob year after year. QBE were the best last year, this year wanted $610 for the RKC. GIO $460. Must be there turn!!

I used insuremyride, come in at about 400 bucks as well!! QBE are a little hit and miss, we've been using GIO/Suncorp for car insurance and they've also been the best priced in that space!

You have to get a new quote every year on all insurance to get the best price especially out of your current insurer.
