Gday all,

Is it normal to get a build up of pressure in the oil tank?

I have a 1991 FXR with a rebuilt 1999 Nighttrain engine fitted. On the weekend I changed the engine oil and filter, ran the bike till it reached operating temperature, shut it down and recheked the oil level.

When I removed the dipstick to check the oil there was a fair bit of pressure built up in the oil tank.

Has anyone else noticed this on there bike?

 whike were @ the FXR,    i need a frame  or a cheap bike that has been reged in N.S.W. or Aus before with a compliance plate  as a friend of mine needs 1,    we want  or got a plan the build Australia's FASTEST street reg'd  ( street bike)  friday nite special & ride her too the drags etc   we know of  &  twin cam engine  that has about 220 + H.P. & this bike has done 8.6 sec 1/4 mile times in the good ole USA  street regd             , we want a street regd 9 sec bike,   this  bike will be a special FXR so the stock bit's  &  pieces will not be need  fork's .swinging-arm etc               but we need a starting point   any help would be great 

 hi krash, Joe Borg  offered me  on his Kawasaki Z1400 that he races in Mod bike , the speed he get's is quite fast & he  is 2 time's  me in weight  & size , iv'e been thinking about ?? ,      i 1st  race a Kawasaki Z1 900  @ Oran Pk in 1976,   @ the moment i own  6 Kawa's Z's 

Sorry Daddyracer I cant help you out with a frame (I need mine at the moment) but if I see somthing I will let you know.

Thanks for the info lads,

While fixing the clutch I spotted a small kink in an oil line that I am assuming is the breather line.

No more pressure in the oil tank, now I just gotta sort the clutch out.
