Hi,

I have a 06 nightrain and want to know if the Blackline tank panel will fit on the standard softail tank to replace all the speedo and ignition etc.

I will have mirrors that incorporate digital speedo,RPM,km's etc.. and want a lower look on the tank.

I called the local HD dealer spare parts but they did not know or really care to find out.

Any thoughts?

 

Tricky one there Slippery... perhaps because the Blacklines are brand spankers no-ones tried this before.

A custom leather inlay/overlay would look sweet  and low

Basicly with the look im going for is stretched low profile tidy look, im most of the way there but I want to put drag bars on the 1.5" risers. If I do this the current softail dash will be the highest point on the bike so i want to smooth the top of the tank (basically the look of the Blackline tank).
I know what i want it to look like in my head and I know it will look shit hot as well. There will be no visible guages sticking out

Would be worth looking at the mounting points of both tanks to see if it will fit your softail. Then looking at how the wiring/switch is relocated, Good luck with the swap. Don't forget to get a pic up when it's done

where are you mate? If in Syd come an have a look at my blackline and see if it will work
