I have got a 2011 Fatbob with SE pipes, ventilator A/C and SE super tuner. I am thinking about putting SE cams in next. Has anyone got a similar setup? Do the cams give you much more power?
I have a 2012 Fatbob which already has 10000klms on the clock.
Picked her up from the dealer with SE high flow aircleaner, SE slip-ons, race tuner and SE 254E cams. After having it dyno tuned I get 81 Hp and 95 ftlbs of torque.
I had a test ride on a stock Fatbob and there is no comparison between the stock bike and mine. The cams bring her to life.
Enjoy whatever you decide to do.
cheers,
John
Filthy, you can't compare HP & TQ on different dyno's, even the room they use can effect the air quality. also WD did not say if his was in 4th gear 5th gear or 6 th gear or with SAE correction. that dyno you posted was done on a good day with humidity that low and also not useing SAE correction. that gives you a horse or two on that day but the next day you might not have the same amount of horses.
not having a go at anyone just explaining what i've seen over the years
for instance seen one guy get more HP doing nothing just going to a different dyno without tunning.
Does anyone have any feedback on the SE 204s or the SE 254e with a setup similar to mine?
Thanks Hilly. Yes, I am leaning towards the 254e because in time I will probably do some more work on the motor. I have spoken to a couple of HD riders with the 204s and they are very happy with their choose. Haven't spoken to anyone thus far that has the 254e with a similar setup to mine.
I had the 204's fitted a few weeks ago. Also changed the pipes to V&H big radius 2 into 1. I am very happy with the power increase, but now looking at some more upgrades on the motor. Would be interested in what would be a good upgrade to suit the 204's, ie. heads, pistons etc.
I Know this is an old post but this is what iv got on 2012 Fatbob with 254E cams
103 have the dyno figurs but not smart enough to put on can sms to ya J.D.
