Was about 10kms from Rye on the freeway whan it happened must have been good whatever caused it. Went flat straight away and left a hole about half the size of a 5 cent coin.

Not really one to promote the corporate world, but have to give a thumbs up to Harley assist. Got 2 years free when i bought the bike. They had a towie there within half hour, offered me a hotel for the night and a rental car if i needed it. Not bad service.

Wasnt going to renew when it expires but might change my mind.

Stop n Go mushroom tyre plugger from the U.S. of A but available here through Tomcat.
I carry one everywhere with 5 standard Co2 cartridges and the cartridge gun. You will need more than one or two Co2 cartridges. I've used the stop n go on my lawn tractor tyre and 4WD tyre. EZ to use.

Don't know why the links never hyperlink here so cut and paste into your browser.

Where do you get the CO2 cartridges from??

I might just get me one of those plug'n'go kits.

Used to always carry a spare tube & tyre levers years ago with a spark plug pump. Only used it a few times, but got me out of trouble

Thanks for the tips, the bags on the Springer are skinny buggers but they should at least hold something useful like the products mentioned (and stuff the other one with grass!)
