     Same basic engine configuration as that 1st photo held the motorcycle land speed record for 16 odd years.

    I remember seeing a pic of a drag bike years ago that had 4, honda 4 motors in it.

    A few more; my fave is the modified Cross bones / WLA. And can anyone explain the second 'clutch lever' on Evel's bike? Decompression lever? Another brake maybe?

    Evel Knievel rode Harley-Davidsons for most of his career and my favorites by far were the tricked out XR750s he used in his most important stunts.

    Tricked Out Harley-Davidson: Dolmar Chainsaw Motorcycle

    24 chainsaw engines feeding into a 5-speed Harley-Davidson transmission create one hard-to-start motorcycle.

    Tricked Out Harley-Davidson: King Kong

    "King Kong" is two Harley Davidson frames and two Knucklehead engines that were painstakingly joined together in the 1950s. The most over-the-top feature are SCUBA tanks used to power air horns.

    Harley-Davidson led the design of the WWII replica bikes for the 2011 blockbuster, Captain America. The bike is a modified Harley-Davidson Cross Bones made to look like a WWII era 1942 WLA Army motorcycle.

    This snowmobile features a 1913 Harley-Davidson engine. Just goes to show that people have been modifying Harleys for as long as there have been Harleys.

    Maybe a decompression lever but I doubt he'd need one that long.
    Could have been a modified rear brake lever at a time that he had a foot injury that prohibited him from pressing rear brake lever.
    Just guessin!
