run them on my Muscle and they are sensational ..... Heaps better than the Dunlops from new , easier into corners and faster to change direction ..... hopefully better mileage , only 8k out of front dunlop

Gun100, sorry I only stumbled onto your post. I don't frequent the forums near enough as time is stretched.

I am 4000kls into a set of night dragons. I feel they are a smoother tyre to ride on, track far better than the stock tyres, they grip better wet and dry but not a lot of feedback. The front tyre is wearing already but I found out you have to run the pressure higher than the dunflops. I ran the dunflops on 30 f and 38 rear, more when two up or loaded for a trip. I am only 70kgs. The rear tyre shows no wear yet. I have a 2008 FXSTC with 2:1,AC,  204 cams and a bunch of bits. I don't ride overly hard but occasionally whip it and I don't do burnouts. When I changed to the Pirelli's the bike developed a speed wobble after 120kls so I changed the front and erar bearings. It still has a speed wobble but after 140kls now. I then did a wheel alignment and checked the steering stem bearings(they were tight so didn't adjust) I haven't found any wear or movement anywhere which leads me to believe the tyres don't quite match this bike. When I get time I am going to put a stock Dunlop tyre on the front and see if that stops the speed wobble..

It was suggested to run the PND's front on 36psi? I am worried with the narrow MH90/21 tyre I would run out of grip with that higher pressure.

I think I will try Metzeler ME880's next. I have 52,000 Kls on the bike now and don't plan to upgrade for quite a while.

How do you find the Metzeler tyres, is the wear rate much less than the dunlops?

i find the metzeler a good all round tyre have had no probs at all with them, i iam just about to do a 240 conversion on the rear so i thought why not try the Night Dragons they are a good looking tyre and have heard all good about them so far, wear is not an issue as i would be lucky to do 5 k a year on them.

    Cheers GUN
