From what I recall, there was a story placed in this section of the forum where members of an MC assaulted someone for driving in the emergency lane. A lot of members of the forum were defending the MC for their actions. As I see it, there seems to be double standards. Bear in mind, we do not know what that person in the car did to the MC members, nor do we know what the person being kicked and punched by police did.

I'm not singling out any forum members and their opinions, just the general vibe of the responses to both scenarios.

An interesting opposite point of view there boxa. Your point about the 1%ers reaction is spot on as the burnout outside the Clubhouse (in this case 'Cop Shop') really is a finger salute to those inside.

Someone mentioned Coppers needing to be 'above this sorta thing' - and he's right too. I think what gets up the collective noses is that the Coppers actions were not only excessive but illegal and if you or I did this sorta thing we'd be locked up. These Cops not only broke the Law (on video) but their punishment is 'community service' and no conviction recorded. Again, you or I would be locked up and the record would show it.

But having said all that I gotta say I'm fine with good old fashioned summary justice - and I f*ckin' HATE smartarse hoon c*nts.

 

Boxa ... i hear where ya coming from but this incident wasnt a back hander nor was it an old fashion biffing, these kids were handcuffed which redendered them helpless and then repeatedly bashed with a batton and kicked while down, and for what ? for being kids IMO, doing a burnout in front of the cop shop, thats what kids do, the anti hoon laws they have these days are more than sufficent IMO, take away their toy for awhile, that usually makes em have second thoughts in the future. You say they've dealt you worse, well you of all people would know shit like this teachers nobody respect, in fact it has the opposite effect, you can bet those kids now have no respect for the police. The thing for me is that it's not just a clip behind the ear to smarten up it was a trunchen flogging and a kicking by two cunz while another stood on and looked.
All because they done a burnout in front of a cop shop. They are stirrers,nothing else has been proven or suggested.
For all we know this is the only thing that they had done wrong.No story about them being habitual road menaces etc etc etc..
Trying to add more information into the story to fluff up your case for the defence is hearsay or conjecture to say the least and will not stand up in court..

Oh yeah, i'll tell ya's the story about the thong episode, it was performed by the 2 local detectives, both of which went down in the fitzgerald enquiry, i think one of em suicided ... anyway's ... we were about 18 or 19 at the time, in a pub lounge that we used to take over and run amoke, was a quiet pub with empty lounge so we had no competition from older tuffer guy's, as usual there was a cpl under age girls with us, we seen the D's pull up outside the door and the under aged girls done a runner, think a cpl of the guy's went with em, they coulda been under age too, dunno, anyway the D's burst through the door like they where looking for some action, one of the girls left so quick she left her bag on a table, which no one was sitting at when they burst in, straight away they demanded to know who's bag it was, everyone said dunno, there was a cpl chicks sittin there a few minutes ago, dont know where they went, maybe the loo ... so they just grabbed my mate by the collar and dragged him outside, the story so far happened in about 5-10 seconds, we could hear the questions and answers from inside, was just about the girls bag, "dunno" was all the answers, next thing we hear em drive off, waited for a bit, but mate didnt walk back in .... yeah as it turned out they through him in the car and took him to the cemetery.

FFS he should of just fessed up and said it was his..LOL
