Can anybody share their experience with cam choices. At the moment my bike is set up with Monster Ovals, Dresser Duals, Heavy Breather Air Cleaner and SE Pro Tuner, all I'm after now is to just to add a little more zip without dropping back a gear when over taking on the hwy. I'm looking at is the SE 204 cam kit for mid range torque without worrying about other engine/valve chain mods and also have the bike dyno tuned. Does anybody run this combo or similar,? and think it's the right choice?. thanks

Slup -- what Oz says is quality info-- If I had a 103" it would have a pair of 254e's in it.

I have a 96" and am running a pair of S&S 551's. Good low midrange up to about 5200 revs max then starts running out of puff-- but it's a lot of fun getting there...!

     Hey Oz,

I would be keen to hear your opinion on the right Cam for a 2010 Fatboy.

I had my eyes on the SE204, then someone mentioned the Andrews 48 and now I read the SE255s are the way to go.

Other than pipes, airkit, and TTS, my 96cc Fatty is stock.

    Your thoughts?

    Cheers

Thanks for your help, in the end I went with the SE254E cams, just fitted last week and they really give the bike more punch when over taking on the Hwy. Very happy with this choice.

Quack, not sure what the mechanic did with downloads, when i booked the bike in for the cams to be fitted they sugguested that a smart tune would be all i need rather than the dyno. As soon as the weather clears i'm going to put on some k's and if i have any issue i'll get it dyno'd.
