Hi all. Hoping someone can help me. I made the mistake of putting dot 5.1 brake fluid in my 92 FXR. Flushed out all the old purple dot 5, till the yellow shit was coming through. The local bloke at the place that shall remain unnamed , told me it was just an upgrade of dot 5. Wish I had come to this forum earlier. Anyway wrong shit, wrecked my paint after a small spill. But now I have to go away and cant get the correct stuff before I go. Is this shit sitting in the system going to cause all my seals to fail and need replacing, or is there something else I can flush through to clear the system till i get the right stuff. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks, thats just what I was looking for. Bugger. Looks like its safest to flush again with dot5
