TTS install and tune questions

I have bought a TTS mastertune for my 2011 883 sportster.

Having read and lurked on these forums for a while i understand there is a wealth of knowledge and experience with this unit.

Is there anyone who has a step by step guide on installing and tuning the TTS?

For instance after connecting the tuner, and copying the original tune. What is recommended? What features or additional software is utilised?

There is only one base tune for the 883 in TTS manual. So using this as a base, what additional steps will be needed to get the bike running as good or better than the factory tune?

The bike currently has V & H Short Shots (herp durp flat spot, i already know, i like the look and sound, so accept the 'performance' of the pipes)

Also have a NRHS 3" filter to go on, and after i am comfortable with the tuning side of things, will put in the 1250 kit i have.

Oz make sit sound so easy. As you will find out there is a bit more involved and time spent that what you may think. Best bet as OZ said update your software and have a good read of the tuning guides. Then ask questions of what you are not sure of. Pleanty of support on here and you will get an answer pretty quickly.

Best thing about the TTS is that if you are not happy with hat you have done then just load your base map back into the bike and have another go.From my experience if you don't get a really good Vtune on the first run, and I mean good data collection then don't bother adjusting the map, do another run and see if you can improve of the hit points on the map. If you have a so so Vtune run and you use that run to generate a tune you will find that the problems that will eventuate will be compounded during the rest of the runs. The first one is the most important as it sets the groundwork for the remainder of the tuning process.

    Have fun
