Did you get the adaptor with the built in thermostat ?

Dicko word of advice. Every time you do an oil change check the tightness of the adapter as they are known to loosen over time. Mine did and I took it off so as to replace the seal and gasket. It had a consistent leak that was ever so slight but seeped down under the filter.
