Like Robo says, it's a tuning program for efi harleys that is very good if you are a diy mechanics that would like to tune their bike themselves. Can be a little confusing @ first but the guys that swear by it on here, can help out if anyone gets stuck.

    Has a dumb question probably.
Purchased the TTS and had the bike Dyno Tuned after changing pipes and adding a SE Air filter.
Now has the box with the inteface dongle and the CD software.

TTS tuning is a mystery that I really don't plan getting involved with beyond curiosity.
I understand that the total tune which took about 2.5hours on the Dyno Machine results in the production of numerous files.
    Who owns those files ?
Is it standard practice for those files to be provided to the customer following a Dyno Tune ?
Do I really need those files or are they resident on the ECU in the bike ?

OK so more than 1 dumb question.

Did they use the TTS to tune your bike? If so then yes you own the Cal file they used. Why did you bother buying the TTS if you are getting it Dyno Tuned. Unless you have to provide your own tuner that is. If you are not going to get into the tuning side of things they are a waste of money.

Yep the TTS Dongle is now locked to the bike. They should have left you with the Cal file they uploaded. If you make any changes to the bike rather than have to start from scratch with a new file, adjustments can be made to the Cal they uploaded.

The TTS is married to your bike and wont work on another bike unless its sent back to TTS for the two bike update what costs $200. I would get the TTS interface back of the tuner with the disc and keep it in a safe place at home until the next round of engine mods. I believe you brought the best tuner on the market because a good dyno operator can tune 99.9% of odd ball builds with it. like no other tuner.

The $100 update is still available if you have a old SERT. The Kent Moore SESPT from 2008 with the button has nothing to do with the TTS so it can't be updated to TTS spec. What year bike and how old is the tuner.?

Have just taken delivery of my "dream bike" a new (well 2011) FLSTC, have ordered new pipes, looking at a Hi Flow air filter and by reading a couple of hours worth of comments, should probably be investing in a TTS. What does TTS stand for... if anything, who makes them and best place to source one??? and yes the answers are all probably here in the forum but my head is starting to spin... any help greatly appreciated and smartarses don't waste my time and yours.. Thanks.
ps: The dealer was trying to sell me a SEPST, main reason was they are not permanently mounted to the bike.
