got a 2000 heritage with 22k and had absolutely no dramas at all with it but the cam chain tensioner dramas that the early TC 88 motors suffer has me worried. I am going to pull it apart and inspect the tensioners for wear and go from there. My question is ,that if they are worn and need replacing should i just replace them with OEM parts or use the harley/ SE hydraulic update kit or go gear drive. I am probably leaning towards the hydraulic update kit at this stage and leaving the stock cams in. The hydraulic kit has comes with the later model oil pump , has anyone used this kit ? How many $$ will i be up for in labour to install the kit ?

I've done a fair bit of research on this matter and have come to the conclusion the SE hydraulic kit is the way to go.

Tonight I have orderd the kit from Zanotti's with a few other bits.

I have a friend in the US who will repost to me  from his address that way I get around the ban on sales outside of the US.
