    Gday,

Been looking for a decent riding jacket of some sort to wear, needs to hold up in a fall so no cheap denim, nylon, etc.. and maybe have some sort of inner elbow/shoulder armour.  I'm a short arse a 5'3" so no HD jackets small enough, and pretty much any aftermarket jackets I can find look like shit scooter or virago riders jackets, and I don't realy wanna look like "the Fonz" (no offence to anyone "AAAAAYYY").......................

Was maybe thinking there's a slim fitting protective jacket/top I can just wear under a hoody if anyone knows of something like that??? Is there anything decent looking out there??!!! (like Harley's  3 into 1 jackets for example....?)

    Cheers lads.

Try Kazzmazz leather. They should be able to help you out.

I've always worn leather, been riding too long seen too much (including racing) to ride without proper protection.
However the past few hot days have made me think about cooler jackets, rather than black leather.
I bought a Teknic Supervent jacket. It is strong mesh construction but with elbow shoulder and back protection (armor) and reinforced where necessary.
Went for a squirt today and it is fantastic! Soon as I rolled down my street I could feel the air on my arms etc which was a weird feeling! Has a bit oflettering on it, but I think I'm going to like it!
    I paid $199 - highly recommended

Armour, Armour fucking armour.....ever thought of just riding better and not falling off??  It's a proven practice we used for decades before armour was invented.

It was not intended as a shot in anyway, just get tired of people seeking NASA type protection then riding like Mick Doohan on speed on shitty australian roads............I aint any near the best rider in the pack but have ridden since 1972 full time and never have not had a bike in that period.
careful riding, knowing your skills and your bike are better than all the armour on the planet.

Mmmmm I've been riding over 25 years, and raced for 5. Seen too many huge crashes and well protected riders get up and walk away because we had to wear full leathers and back protectors on the track(actually back protectors weren't mandatory, but wore one anyway).
No one goes out on the roads to crash, and most of the time it's not the riders fault, but to each his own, and I want to be able to enjoy my grand kids growing up in good health.
I can appreciate that it is everyone's choice, otherwise we'd all be in cars, but for me its protective gear all the way.

Yep totally agree Alvarez. I suppose it's all about lessening the risks. Positioning yourself in the lane, looking further ahead, treating everyone else on the road like they are an idiot. And I think a big part of lessening the risk is wearing protective gear.

Thats basically, what I said earlier but in Alvarez speak. Stop mlaiming cars for our own dickhead riding, ride within your slikks, know your bike (I recon it takes 6 months to do so) and dont get pre-occupied with all this kevlar and armour wank....Better & cheaper to not fall off.............................
