Whats doing

    I'm a member of the Southern Cross Ass. had a meeting the other day and some members  had heard from others that you had to own a Harley to be a menber. This is not true. I'm sure all of us Harley owners will mix with anyone. Regardless of  bike or club.  Do any other forum members have an apinion on this matter.

    Shouldn't matter what you ride I reckon. Mate bought a Victory and by chance met the lady who was the previous owner (she traded it) anyway she was part of the AMC and they told her it wasn't American and she can't ride it in the club.

    Its not what ya ride, or how ya ride it....its how it makes ya feel.
    A few of us met a group of SCA members at condamine recently, great bunch of poeple.

    I personally wouldn't join a club that would allow me in as a member.

    I know someone else wrote that but it is words to live by.

    who cares ,just ride and enjoy life .
    freedom is about non conformity imo

    I agree with Dicko. if it's not a 'Brand' Club (HD or Triumph or Ducati or whatever) then I'd expect pretty much any bike is IN unless their Charter specifically says they're not.

    Thanks for posting the clarification Rob.

    But hey, 'what's doing'..... if ya wanna get a message out and draw attention to ya ASSociation, why choose 'whats doing' as a subject title?

    I joined a drag club once and turned up to the first meeting in high heels,pantyhose and a hot little number I borrowed from my sister and they told me to piss of !!...I think I misunderstood all the lingo about stroked and blown and big fats in the rear

    Thanks to all the replys it's good to see a bit of spirit., The Southern Cross Assoc. is all about charity and raising dollars for Spina Bifida. To coin a pharase "do your self a favour" and if you can go on the September poker run, it's a five day event. Last one we had approx. 400 hundred BIKES OF ALL TYPES. A great time was had by all.

    Been here done this my friends.

    Personally I do not want to see the HDFAU going this way.
    Neither do the mods nor the sponsors.
    How about a peace pipe or go the way of a PM to sort it out.
    On a normal day in real life your buddies would take whoever aside and have a quiet word.

    I know I know..I don't make the rules either.
    I just drink here.
