I'm with you Crazy and Sticky,     I have a Cobra Fi2000r module on my 2009 Electra Glide. Strange as it may sound, the module installed,(it was on when I bought bike), is specified for harley 2007 softail range. Bike runs as well as I think it should, (I'm  not a performance expert).  With all the advancment in computer technology, and everyone trying to invent the next super dooper device, no doubt their is a little bit of a con going on.  On one side you have riders that maintain their bikes properly , looking to take the leanness away and get a better sounding ride, ie Stage 1 upgrade.  Then you have the guys (God love them)  that want every drop of performance out of their well maintained bike.  If we did'nt have these guys we would'nt have the advancemts that we have today, (in any industry).  Then take the dyno workshops that want to still to be in business in the computer age.  The one thing I have learnt from experience and all the forum's etc, is, if you "really" want to know how your bike is running at any given time , the dyno is the answer..   (this is especially true with major upgraded engines).   That being said, with the advancement of technology, the auto tuning systems, (pick a make that takes you fancy), I belive will come into there own , especially minor ugraded engines.   Just think, in 5 ,10, 15 years , young blokes are going to say, did you old fuckers ride around with a lap top ,(what the fuck is that) , ride around town , get in the garage, plug cables everywhere, start a computer, flash this and that , go through all the calibrations like an astronaut, to tune your bike???   You have to work out what school your in , Stock , Stage 1 , or more advanced.  Just my thoughts..   Before i send this to the forum, I will put my helmet on , so I'll be ready for any abuse.  Regards Mark

I wounder how a cobra tuner would go with cams?

So fare it works good with stage 1 upgrades.

It is heavy on the juice.

This is for Bugger who started the thread . Been doing research re Cobra modules, (Because I have one installed). What I have found out from the Austalian Distributor of Cobra (Link Distributors) is the" Cobra Power Pro", (Auto Tuner), is not appliciable to to our bikes (Euro and ADR versions), only the USA harleys.  The US harleys have different emissions requirements , and are not fitted with O2 sensors or intake and exhaust valve emission system like ours.   From what I've read , they work well in the US.   PS,  the Cobra module I have on my 2009 FLHT, Stage 1 is a Fi2000R fuel injection module only, I'm happy with it.    No doubt they will bring out an Auto Tuner for our design of bikes in the near future.  Hope this helps . Regards Mark.

Well Sooki, straight to the point.  The Cobra modules can be a bit confusing, as all the Cobra's  have Fi2000 stamped on them. The Cobra Power Pro , auto tuner I belive connects to the injectors and ground only, no O2 connections. Is this the module you have installed on your bike.?    If it is , it would be good to hear a little more about you results. and what year model bike etc.  What  I said in my comments on this thread , as I said came from the Aust Distributor of Cobra, who said he just came back from the USA and visited the Cobra Factory.  For all I know he may be full of shit.  I have emailed Cobra USA, but have had no responce , regarding similar questions.  Look foward to hearing about your experiences with the Cobra Power Pro, auto tuner , as theirs not much info on them here in Aust.  Regards Mark

My 06 nightrain runs good with the Cobra, I have Feuling 525 chain drive cams. Power is 80hp/85Tq but I am losing torque through my choice of pipes (Bassani pro-streets) they look and sound the goods but are a little too large diameter and short length for an 88ci.
As i am going for a big bore kit soon I am selling my Cobra and replacing it for a custom tunable PCV if anyone is interested for $400.

I have just put SE 211 cams into my 103 2012 fatbob with A/c and V&h big radius , at first she ran a bit ruff. ( auto ajust)

It toke a good highway ride playing with the throttle up and down, diffrent rev rangers and speeds.

By the end of 100klm ride, all was good, runs very well.

I dont know what the numbers are but it feels strong with a lot more top end and torq, very happy

Unfortunately there is little available in reviews of the akrapovic system, only the same marketing blurbs popping up over and over on google search results. Having had akrapovics on sportsbikes before the quality is second to none.

These noise adjustable exhausts would be ideal if they could work with an auto tuner!
