I have nothing but respect for our guys.....this doco was just to sanitised from my POV.

Mack71, I served with 9SQN then 5AVN from 89 to 93, and yes I spent half the time in A Sqn. Posted to 162 Recce after that, bit of a difference.

good doco. if your not filled with pride after seeing our boys over there your not australian. geez they have some balls. dont know how many times i said "fuck that" while watching.

why do they not put this on 11/11 ?? or something similar - a doco on the history of our armed forces or something. the one thing we can learn from the yanks is patriotism.

agree Oz... but I'm guessing the bods in Canberra cut and cut and cut because there was a lot of repetition (albiet different shots). I wonder if the powers didn't want it shown just how tuff it is and how good our guys are...

 

have huge respect for our guys and I think whilst I respect the limitations it probably did not do enough to make people realise...... Oz and  I have been to places where our boys are deployed, but I've never been in situations like Oz and so I respect your comment bro
